As part of National Night Out, senior executives including Michael Beardsley and Motoko Kamiyama organized and sponsored a block party in a neighborhood in Oakland’s Koreatown Northgate District. Festivities included a street side potluck barbeque, community involvement, and ‘Gino’s Rock and Roll Classics’. National Night Out is a nation-wide annual event designed to raise crime prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and unity, and foster community-police partnerships.
