Internet Securities held its Summer 2004 Telecom Showcase in June. Several startup companies associated with Voice over IP (VoIP) presented their business plans to an audience of accredited angel investors, venture capitalists, and corporate venture capitalists. Keynote Speaker: Doug Sobieski, Vice President, XO Communications

Mr. Sobieski is Vice President of Broadband Wireless Services at XO Communications where he oversees the commercialization of the company's fixed Broadband Wireless Services. Following successful trials in early 2004 in southern California, XO has initiated plans to roll out the services nationally.

Keynote Speaker: David LaDuke, Co-founder and CEO, Sputnik

An experienced entrepreneur, Mr. LaDuke has a successful 20-year track record in high-technology marketing and management and was a co-founder of Linuxcare, Inc. David has provided high-technology strategy consulting for clients. Before that, he held senior marketing positions at Apple Computer and NeXT, Inc.
