2005 Summer Telecom Showcase
Internet Securities® held its Summer 2005 Telecom Showcase in
August in Oakland, CA. Some of America’s finest startup companies associated with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) presented their
business plans to an audience of accredited angel investors, venture
capitalists, strategic corporate investors, and industry
analysts. The evening also included an in-depth panel discussion of mergers and
acquisition activities within the RFID industry sector.

Manish Bhuptani, President and Co-founder, Claritec Systems Claritec Systems is a provider of RFID enhanced solutions for the pharmaceuticals industry. Prior to Cleritec, Mr. Bhuptani was Director of Market Development at Sun Microsystems where he
grew Sun's market presence in emerging and established markets. He has also worked as a management
consultant at A.T. Kearney where he advised Fortune 500 companies on business strategy, and
as a software engineer at IBM. He holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, an MS
in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, and a BE in Electrical Engineering from The
Cooper Union.
