2010 Summer Technology Showcase
Internet Securities® held its Summer 2010 Technology Showcase in
August in San Francisco, CA. Some of America’s finest startup companies associated with Alternative Energy and Water presented their
business plans to an audience of accredited angel investors, venture
capitalists, strategic corporate investors, and industry
analysts. The evening also included an in-depth panel discussion of mergers and
acquisition activities with the Alternative Energy and Water industry sectors.

Mr. Mr. John Van Dyke has invested in over 100 Silicon Valley startups over the past 15 years. He was a member of the Band of Angels and has invested often alongside of Hambrecht & Quist.
He is currently on the boards of Fiberlite, Airkast, and Zephyr-Tec. He was also president and owner of Dakota Water Systems, a seawater and brackish water purification company headquartered in San Mateo, California. Dakota Water Systems owned and operated 35 desalination plants in the Far East and the Caribbean. Luke Fishback is the founder and CEO of PlotWatt.com, a startup building web-based dashboards that help people to reduce their electric bills. Prior to starting Plotwatt, Luke was an engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems, where he managed complex systems engineering efforts on a variety of projects through a leadership development rotational program. He has successfully overseen and implemented pioneering real-time monitoring systems in both the lab and home.
Luke graduated with honors from Dartmouth College where he earned a BA, BSME and Masters degree in Engineering Management.
